Indian artist Badshah taps J Balvin and super producer Tainy for his new single, “Voodoo.” An accompanying music video was also released.

The trilingual track arrives on the heels of Badshah’s latest EP, Retropanda – Part 1, which dropped last month. “Voodoo” marks the first collaboration between the Badshah and international superstar J Balvin.

“J Balvin is like an idol to me,” Badshah said in a press release. “He’s been doing what I have been trying to do in my own space, and the way he’s made a way for himself despite the language, despite the odds, really inspired me.”

“Voodoo” catches J Balvin fresh off connecting with Ed Sheeran on the collaborative singles “Sigue” and “Forever My Love.”

“One of the many reasons I was drawn to creating music is because it’s universal,” J Balvin said in a statement. “It connects people despite language barriers. Badshah and Tainy are tremendous artists, and this collaboration is just another example of how we’re able to unite people of different cultures to find common ground and vibe together.”
