Lil Wayne just released his new Free Weezy Album over the summer, but it looks like he's already back in the studio working on some new music. It's unclear if Weezy has another project lined up for the rest of the year (Carter V anyone?), but new footage shows that he has a remix of Drake's "Back to Back" on the way. The video was uploaded to Snapchat by Young Money artist, Stephanie Acevedo, and then ripped to YouTube.
Based on Wayne's career, if he's rapping over another artist's song that means a mixtape is usually on the way, though he hasn't announced anything as of yet. Wayne's label situation with Cash Money is still clouded with lawsuits and money issues, so it will be interesting to see if his next project drops on Tidal like the FWA. Of course, Birdman ended up suing Tidal and Jay Z when that happened, so that could throw a wrench in the plan. In any case, it looks like Wayne has something up his sleeve.
