UPDATED 05/24, 10:15 a.m. ET: After earlier reports suggested the possibility of Cardi B developing a drink-themed show called Bocktails, the rapper came out to shut down the news and clarify she's only working on beverages.

Bardi took to Twitter to reveal the trademarks she filed were solely for drinks she may release in the future. "No I’m not doing a tv show. I’m just [sic] trade marking different drinks name," she said. "TMZ gets one piece of information and put legs and feet on that bitch!"

Bocktails With Cardi B is a thing that could be happening.

Citing trademark documents that were filed in February, the usual suspects over at TMZ said the aim is to use the title for "entertainment services" including episodic television and online content featuring fellow "celebrities and artists."

Additionally, the trademark aims to include Bocktails-themed merchandise ranging from shirts to footwear, as well as alcoholic drinks of the non-beer variety. No additional info was revealed, though it's hard to imagine this not easily landing on a major network, particularly given Cardi's ongoing charts success. Previously, Cardi was reported to be making a similar move with her "Okurrr" catchphrase.

Earlier this week, Cardi appeared in the Eif Rivera-assisted video for DJ Khaled's Father of Asahd cut "Wish Wish," also featuring 21 Savage.

Also this month, Cardi emerged as the leading contender for this year's BET Awards, set for June 23 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Cardi bagged seven nominations, including multiple nods for Best Collaboration and one for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, while other top nominees like Drake and Beyoncé landed five and four, respectively.

A run of concerts previously slated to begin later this week, meanwhile, has been postponed. Per a TMZ report, a rep for Cardi said she was "very disappointed and hates to let her fans down" but will see them on makeup dates. "Her strenuous schedule has taken a toll on her body and she has been given strict doctors orders to pull out of the rest of her performances in May," the rep said. The postponement was reportedly due to doctors recommending some downtime following recent surgery.
