For the first time in 18 years, Ariana Grande spent the Thanksgiving holiday with both her parents.
Indeed, as seen in Instagram Story updates from the giving-of-thanks-and-whatnot proceedings, the Album of the Year nominee was able to get together with mother Joan Grande and father Edward Butera on Thursday.
As thank u, next frequenters will note, the split of Grande's parents is mentioned in the lyrics for the title track:

Grande also scored song nominations in the Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and more.
Earlier this month, Grande showed support for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, who attended a recent show of hers.
"I'm so proud of my fans for paying attention and getting involved," she said. "We adore you!"
