Bun B is wondering if he's a certified Swiftie.
The UGK member took to his Instagram on Wednesday to share his unexpected meeting with Taylor Swift at a dinner. In the photo, the 50-year-old "Get Throwed" MC is seen shaking the 33-year-old "Cruel Summer" singer's hand as she smiles.
Bun went into detail on how the chance meeting happened. "About last night..got a call in the middle of dinner to meet Matt from @astorclubnyc at an Uno game," he captioned his post. "Turns out its @questlove party with food from cannabis chef/educator @thechefnikki which was amazing. Quest calls [Joseph Patel], who I hadn't sent in years."
As Bun B left, Patel—an Oscar-winning filmmaker—said, "I have to have a picture with you and Taylor."
Turns out, Bun wrote, it was "THE Taylor," pop superstar. "As in @taylorswift, who couldn't have been more kind and personable," he applauded.
Bun B's first impression of Swift held great value as he compared their meeting to his experiences encountering Queen Bey and former President Barack Obama. "I've only ever met 2 other people who make you feel this seen and heard in an interaction before, and that's @barackobama and @beyonce."
He joked and asked his followers, "My question is does this make me a Swiftie?"
Patel also posted a photo of the two as they were all smiles for the camera. "Last night was weird but in a good way," he wrote on his Instagram story.
