Jimmy Butler and Shakira may be the newest couple on the block after they were spotted spending time with each other in London at the Novikov Restaurant & Bar.
According to ET Online, Butler and Shakira were enjoying a lowkey dinner where they ate sushi and sipped on some cocktails on Wednesday night. A source claimed the two arrived and left the restaurant separately but were "looking cozy" while inside.
“They have been out a few times, but things are very new and it’s too early to tell if there’s long-term potential there,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that their 13-year age difference “doesn’t bother” Shakira, 46, “whatsoever.”
It's important to note neither party has confirmed or denied their relationship.
Fans began to think the two were an item after Shakira posted a video on Instagram of her attending a Miami Heat game in May. Butler added more fuel to the fire when he liked a video of the singer giving an acoustic performance on Instagram.
US Weekly's source also stated "Jimmy makes Shakira smile, and she feels happy spending time with him" and that the pair "have only known each other for a short while, and just recently started following each other on social media."
Shakira's outing with the NBA All-Star comes after she was spotted hanging out with Lewis Hamilton on a boat after the Miami Grand Prix in May. They also reportedly spent time at Cipriani restaurant in Miami after the race, and Shakira apparently visited Hamilton at his Florida home that week.
Page Six had also reported that the "Hips Don't Lie" singer was chatting with Tom Cruise at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami as well. The hangout was enough for Cruise to be “extremely interested” in pursuing a romance with Shakira and sent her flowers.
Shakira has been outside since she called it quits with her ex-husband, soccer player Gerard Piqué, in 2022 after 11 years together. Shakira alluded that Piqué had cheated on her in her song “Monotonía.”
