Kid Cudi ordered $10,000 worth of Popeyes chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes, and fries from Postmates to be sent to the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission Friday night, TMZ reports. The night before he was set to take the stage for his second set at Coachella, Cudi wanted to give back to the shelter, which helps provide hundreds of homeless people in Indio, California with meals and housing.Â
These meals arrived courtesy of Postmates, which was already collaborating with Cudi to create a "Munchies Menu" in commemoration of 4/20. Available in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Miami, and Chicago, the list curates Cudi's favorite items from the five major cities. "Most of the inspiration behind the names on the munchies menu comes from inside jokes with friends and nicknames earned over the years," he said.Â
Cudi's second go-round at Coachella was highlighted by a surprise appearance by Kanye West. The two went on to perform some of their more recent collabs, including "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1," "Reborn," off their joint album Kids See Ghosts, and Ye's "Ghost Town," along with 070 Shake. Cudi returned the favor by dropping in on Kanye's Easter "Sunday Service" performance the following day.Â
