Young Thug can now officially add a No. 1 album to his resume. Billboard is reporting that the week of August 16-22 wrapped up with So Much Funin the top spot.

Young Thug pushed 131,000 equivalent album units this past week, with just 5,000 of those coming in album sales. He earned nearly 168 million on-demand audio streams of his newest album's 19 tracks. That's the fifth-largest streaming week for any album that's come out in 2019, and the second largest streaming week for any hip-hop album that's come out in 2019. The only three artists to have larger weeks were Ariana Grande (who actually did it for two consecutive weeks with Thank U, Next), Billie Eilish (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), and Juice WRLD (for Death Race for Love).

So Much Fun does represent his eighth straight album to crack the outlet's Top 40 and his fifth straight to bust into the top 10. His previous best was No. 2 with the Future co-starring Super Slimey.

Quality Control: Control the Streets, Volume 2 landed at No. 3 behind Lionel Richie's Hello From Vegas. That album features tracks from Migos, Lil Yachty, City Girls, and Lil Baby. The QC compilation finished the week with 63,000 units.
