In recent years, the manner in which someone should or shouldn't discipline their kids has become a matter of public debate. While some people have elected to move past whoopings and other modes of physical discipline, Boosie Badazz is still stuck in his ways.
During an interview with VladTV, Boosie wasn't shy about admitting that he still beats his children.
"I'm a fun daddy, but I discipline them too," the father of seven told Vlad. "I don't beat them too bad, but I beat they ass. I give 'em a good ole fashion ghetto whooping." Boosie went on to share his thoughts on the way people react to parents who physically discipline their child.
"You spare the rod, you spoil the child," Boosie said. "What they having going on today is wrong... Parents going to jail for disciplining they kids? The world has changed. You can't even whoop your child and send them back to school with a bruise."
While Boosie is known for being controversial, he does claim that beating his children is done as a last resort. Before he gives his kids a whooping, he says he talks to them.
"I chew 'em out," Boosie said when asked how he punishes his kids. "I chew 'em out in front of they other brothers and sisters and they don't like that. They don't like to get embarrassed in front of they brothers and sisters... Other than that. If they out of line I beat they ass... And sometimes it falls back on me because I play with my kids a lot."
