Trevor Jackson has shared his debut album, The Love Language via Empire and Born Art.
The feature-less 14-track project includes singles “Just Friends” and “Get to You,” and production from Jackson himself, Harvey Mason Jr., Ayo & Keyz, and more.
“Love is the universal language of all things and I hope this album gives people more confidence to understand their own love languages and how to communicate them,” Jackson said in a statement, regarding his album. “The power of this music will not only bring people together, but it’ll also bring people closer to themselves.”
The grown-ish actor is also gearing up for the new film Hate to See You Go, where he’ll star alongside Morgan Freeman, Alfre Woodard, Common, and Bill Burr. The film follows a Chicago Blues musician who protests retiring as he’s getting older.
