Don Q has shared Double Or Nothing, his first project in three years, via Highbridge The Label and EMPIRE.
The 10-track mixtape is a largely featureless work, besides one guest appearance from BLovee. Otherwise, the project rests on Don Q’s shoulders alone, and includes the previously released single “True King.”
Alongside Double Or Nothing, the Bronx rapper has dropped off the video for project cut “Say That,” which sees him lounging poolside with models.
Don Q recently hopped on a Funkmaster Flex freestyle, rapping over the beat to DMX’s “What These Bitches Want,” a rapper whom Don Q admires deeply. “I can’t speak about no shootings that have happened on behalf of the bros/But try snatching my gold and I’m clapping this pole.” He continues, “If I came out with it, I’m ready to have a bang out with it/Out the back window trying to hang out with it/I’ve seen the toughest n***as take the stand/So don’t think I trust you just because I shake your hand.”
