On Thursday (Jan. 31), Cardi B denied rumors that she and Offset have reunited. However, it looks like they may be on their way to rekindling their relationship.
TMZ captured the Bronx rapper FaceTiming with Offset after she touched down at the LAX. Though she was covering her face with a scarf, her smile was noticeable as TMZ asked who she was on the phone with. “My significant other," she said.
TMZ shared a report that the two had resumed their relationship. The outlet claimed the couple was “officially back on," and Cardi had moved back into the same Atlanta house that they shared prior to the split.
But Cardi called out the report in a since-deleted tweet. “TMZ why ya be lying,” she said. “I haven't even been in Atl since Christmas.”
Cardi initially announced her split from Offset last December. This led Offset to embark on a short but eventful apology tour that ended with an unwelcome surprise appearance during Cardi's set at Rolling Loud Los Angeles.
Rumors of their reconciliation have been taking shape ever since, especially after the two were seen jet-skiing together in Puerto Rico right before Christmas. Both Cardi and Offset have openly admitted that they miss aspects of their relationship and seem hopeful they can rekindle what they had.
