Travis Scott reached another career milestone this week with his hit single "Sicko Mode."
The track—which includes contributions from Drake, Swae Lee, and the late Big Hawk—earned the Houston rapper his first-ever No. 1 track on the Billboard Hot 100. It spent the last four weeks at the No. 2 slot, trailing Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next"; however, the subsequent Skrillex remix seemingly provided a big boost.
"I don't know how I'm writing this right now … it's so many emotions. Just super-thankful to all the fans and supporters," Scott told Billboard about the achievement. "Me and Drake been working to make something so crazy for the kids. It's dope that one of our illest collaborations just went No. 1. I just want to thank him and the whole OVO fam for everything. And love to Skrillex!"

According to Billboard, "Sicko Mode" streams surged 35 percent following the release of Skrillex's remix; however, the outlet reports Skrillex will not receive a No. 1 chart credit, as the remix has not outperformed the original version. And although Drake, Swae Lee, and Hawk were featured on the track, they won't receive a credit because they were not officially billed on the song.
"Sicko Mode" was the second single off Scott's third studio album, ASTROWORLD, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The project eventually slipped within the top 10, but managed to regain the top slot this week with 71,000 album equivalent units earned. ASTROWORLD has now led the Billboard 200 for a total of three nonconsecutive weeks.
