6ix9ine and his label decided to release his debut album DUMMY BOY officially on Tuesday, after the project surfaced online over the weekend. Fortunately for him, the leak and his current incarceration don't seem to have negatively impacted his sales.

According to Hits Daily Double, 6ix9ine is gearing up to take either the No. 1 or No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200, reportedly moving 60,000-65,000 album equivalent units. Since his record didn’t come out until Tuesday, these numbers are based off three of the seven days of the tracking week. 6ix9ine sits neck and neck with Travis Scott, who likely got a boost from his ASTROWORLD tour that kicked off earlier this month.

Originally set for a Nov. 23 release, DUMMY BOY was postponed "until further notice" following 6ix9ine's arrest on Nov. 18. It quickly hit No. 1 on the iTunes and Apple Music chart upon release. The 13-track album includes a star-studded list of features from Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Tory Lanez, Lil Baby, Gunna, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Murda Beatz.

If he manages to land the No. 1 album, 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, will have to celebrate behind bars as he waits for his trial to begin in September 2019. Hernandez currently faces a range of racketeering and firearms-related charges, each of which carry maximum sentences between three years and life, and more charges are expected to follow in the coming months. He entered a not guilty plea during a court hearing on Monday.
