Drake gave fans one really good reason to cancel their Friday night plans.

About 24 hours ago, Drizzy made a surprise appearance at Majid Jordan’s concert in Toronto, where he announced the release of a new record presumably off his upcoming project.

“The reason I’m here tonight is because I’m back in the city finishing my album,” Drake told the audience. “I’ve got a new single dropping tomorrow night, too, just in case you got some free time.”

Die-hards, of course, had a collective freakout, with many theorizing what kind of heat Drizzy had up his sleeve. Would it be that Murda Beatz-produced cut he previewed back in March? Would it serve as the lead single for his next album? Would it include a Fortnite reference? Though there were a lot of unanswered questions, fans were still understandably pumped.

The 6 God didn’t leave us hanging. Just moments ago, Drake unleashed a new track called “Nice for What.” The song prominently samples Lauryn Hill's "Ex-Factor." You can check it out now on Apple Music and iTunes. It's also on Spotify.

But that's not all. In addition to the New Orleans bounce-influenced track, Drake also dropped off some stunning visuals starring Tiffany Haddish, Yara Shahidi, Letitia Wright, Zoe Saldana, Rashida Jones, Issa Rae, Olivia Wilde, Jourdan Dunn, Tracee Ellis Ross, Bria Vinaite, Syd, Michelle Rodriguez, Emma Roberts, and more. Watch it up top.

“Nice for What” marks Drake’s first solo release since the Scary Hours EP featuring “Diplomatic Immunity” and the record-breaking “God’s Plan.”
