Kendrick LamarĀ has been relatively quiet throughout 2019 otherĀ than appearing on a handful of collaborative cuts and playing a few gigs here and thereā€”the most recent of which was theĀ Day N VegasĀ music festival that sparked a bizarre conspiracy theory. Although the Grammy-winning rapper hasn't gone completely MIA, there's no doubt his international fan base isĀ hungry for more, which is why many of them are pumped for 2020.

Kendrick, who we named as one of the best rappers of the last decade, has booked a string of European summerĀ music festivals scheduled for next year: Lollapalooza Stockholm on June 28, Longitude in Dublin on July 3, Rock Werchter in Belgium on July 4, NOS Alive inĀ Portugal on July 8, and theĀ WOO HAH! Festival in the Netherlands on July 12.

This is, of course, great news for his European fan base, but what about the rest of us?Ā The last time the TDE rapper hit the road for a full-on tour was in 2017 for the Damn Tour, which kicked off months after he delivered his fourth studio album,Ā Damn. It's important to note Kendrick has not announced a 2020 trek, but if the summer gigs turned out to be a part of a world tour, it's possibleĀ he would drop new music before heading to Europe. ButĀ again, this is all speculation at this point.

DJ Premier recently told Complex that he had reached out to Kendrick's team a while back to collaborate on the latest Gang Starr album, but the timing didn't work out as Kendrick was starting on his own project. "I thought about Kendrick Lamar," PremierĀ explained in regards to the song "Family and Loyalty," which eventually featured J. Cole.Ā "I reached out to them, they said the same thingā€”he's really starting this new album and in that zone, so doing anything outside that right now might be a little hectic."

Stay tuned to see what K-DotĀ has in store in 2020.

In other Kendrick-related news, the rapperĀ was recently spotted hanging out with fellow Compton rapper Roddy Ricch, who just released his debut studio album,Ā Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial.Ā
