Watch J Balvin and Skrillex's New Video for "In da Getto"

J Balvin is keeping fans fed. 

Over the past month, the Prince of Reggaeton has come through with a steady stream of music releases, including “Otro Fili” with Jay Wheeler and the video for “¿Que Más Pues?” with María Becerra. Balvin continued that momentum at midnight Friday with the premiere of “In da Getto,” featuring EDM star Skrillex. The song has all the components of a proper summer anthem and includes elements of 1993’s “In De Ghetto” by David Morales and the Bad Yard Club.

The song, co-produced by Skrillex and Tainy, was accompanied by an official music video directed by Alfred Marroquín. The visual follows Balvin and Skrillex throughout a night of partying, hitting up nightclubs, outdoor functions, and wild house party. It also includes cameos by TikTok comedy star Khaby Lame as well as Jeff Obeng’s Mufasa character, who has become of one of the most famous dancers on TikTok.

You can stream “In da Getto” now on all major platforms and check out its official video above. The premiere comes hust hours before Blavin’s appearance on TikTok’s Headstream, where he’ll discuss the song and engage with fans in a live chat.

Balvin is also gearing up to release his own Transformers action figure with Hasbro. The toy, dubbed “J Balvintron,” stands about 7-inches tall and features Balvin’s signature smiley face as well as nods to the artist’s Energía and Vibras albums. According to Billboard, the limited-edition action figure will be available for pre-order on July 13. The item which will sell for $69.99 exclusively on the NTWRK platform.

In other Balvin news, the 36-year-old entertainer and Valentina Ferrer welcomed their first child together earlier this week. Ferrer confirmed the good news via Instagram on Thursday, posting a black-and-white photo of the child’s foot.

“4 days of the best Love,” she captioned the image.
