Like many couples, G-Eazy and Halsey have had their fair share of ups and downs.
The artists went from “relationship goals” to eventually calling it quits months ago. Though neither of them confirmed the reason behind their split, sources claimed it was primarily due to trust issues.
“They both tried to remain strong to ensure their work commitments together went smoothly, but ultimately called it quits after too much fighting,” an insider told E! News. “The trust was lost between the pair when they were apart, and it got too difficult for both of them.”
Less than two months after their breakup was confirmed, G-Eazy and Halsey sparked rumors of reconciliation, as they were spotted together exiting a VMAs after-party together … hand in hand.
And, no, this wasn’t a one-time thing. The two have been seen out and about on multiple occasions since their split. They most recently traveled to Italy together to celebrate Halsey’s 24th birthday.
In honor of Halsey’s big day, G-Eazy posted a heartfelt message on Instagram in which he declared his love for the singer: “Happy birthday to this one. I love you so so so much and I always will,” he wrote in the caption. “[…] You’re the brightest star in the sky. So grateful to get to travel thru life with you, so happy to call you my queen. Happy birthday baby.”
