Rowdy Rebel didn't waste any time before returning to the studio.
Just hours after the rapper's Dec. 15 prison release, New York radio host Funk Flex announced he and Rowdy Rebel were teaming up on his next project: "It's official! Rowdy Rebel is officially on my album," Flex wrote on Instagram. "We recording for the next 3 days! We gonna shut the city down. We putting the track together tonight!"
The collaborative track, titled "Re-Route," dropped on Thursday, marking Rowdy Rebel's first official drop since he was released from prison.

Rowdy Rebel is also gearing up to release a full-length project later this year. He touched on the effort during an interview on 360 With Speedy Morman last month, stating he has been working on the effort—possibly titled Rowdy vs. Rebel—day and night.
