Run the Jewels Join DJ Shadow on "Nobody Speak"

DJ Shadow recruited hip-hop's favorite duo Run the Jewels for his new song "Nobody Speak." According to him, he wouldn't have gone for anyone else. "I wasn't going to settle for anyone other than Run The Jewels; in my mind, it was them or no one," he said in a press release. "Fortunately, they agreed, and they took the track to a place I could never get to on my own. That's the definition of a rewarding collaboration."

The pair go in over the funky beat, consisting of twangy acoustic guitars and a brass section "Picture this/I'm a back of dicks/Put me to your lips/I am sick," spits El-P as the song starts. Killer Mike follows up with a fire verse of his own. "I rob Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, Linus and Lucy/Put coke in the doobie/Roll it to smoke with Snoopy," he raps. The track will live on DJ Shadow's upcoming album The Mountain Will Fall, which is due out via Mass Appeal Records on June 24.
