Fresh off chatting with J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Uzi Vert, Jazzy’s World TV has added another superstar rapper to her growing list of interviews.

The 12-year-old journalist recently landed an interview Lil Baby, who spoke with Jazzy after his performance at Rolling Loud.

When asked to talk about his support system, the Atlanta rapper named three hip-hop figures who’ve pushed him to be great: Young Thug, as well as Quality Control co-founders Kevin Lee, better known as Coach K, and Pierre “Pee” Thomas.

“They pushed me to start rapping,” Baby shared. “If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t rap.”

The interview arrives as Lil Baby is preparing to release his third studio album, It’s Only Me. The official follow-up to his 2020 sophomore effort My Turn, the LP is set to drop Oct. 14.

Ahead of the release of It’s Only Me, Lil Baby has continued his momentum this year with a string of one-off singles, “Right On,” “In A Minute,” “Frozen,” and “Detox.” The Quality Control rapper has also delivered scene-stealing guest features for several A-list artists, including Future (“Like Me”), Vince Staples (“East Point Prayer”), NAV (“No Sleep”), and DJ Khaled (“Staying Alive,” “Big Time”).

Earlier this month, Baby revealed the cover art for It’s Only Me, which features Rap Mt. Rushmore occupied by four versions of Lil Baby.

“I Kno Its Been Along Time Coming But I’m Coming Harder And Harder,” he captioned an IG post revealing the artwork.
