Fresh off the release of his new single “Nail Tech,” Jack Harlow received quite the endorsement from the artist formerly known as Kanye West.

“In an Instagram post Friday morning, Ye shared a screenshot from Harlow’s “Nail Tech” video, sharing some brief thoughts in the caption. “This n***a can raaaaaaap bro And I’m saying n***a as a compliment Top 5 out right now,” Ye wrote, as seen below.

Harlow took to Twitter shortly after to share his reaction to Ye’s praise, which he called “one of the greatest moments of my entire life.”

“Suddenly all the hate means nothing,” Harlow wrote. “Imagine your hero saying this about you. I could cry.”

Despite not releasing any solo music since dropping his debut album Thats What They All Say in December 2020, the Kentucky rapper has continued his momentum with a handful of collaborations.

Last summer, he snagged his first No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 song after he joined Lil Nas X for “Industry Baby” (which also earned them a Grammy nomination in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category), connected with Pooh Shiesty on “SUVs (Black on Black),” and showed his appreciation for his hometown fans with a run of sold-out shows in December.
