Iggy Azalea says she was forced to cut short a performance in Saudi Arabia on Friday at the Gamers8 e-sports event after experiencing a wardrobe malfunction.

Over the weekend, Iggy hopped on Twitter to shed light on the situation, adding that she also made a comment onstage that "sent the authorities over the edge."

“Saudi Arabia please know to everyone at the show tonight… I LOVE YOU!!!,” she wrote in a since-deleted post. “And I’m soooooo sorry I wasn’t allowed to finish my show. It’s not the promoter who put on the shows fault so show them kindness because they are amazing people and we all wanted to continue but were not allowed by authorities because of my pants splitting.”

Iggy expanded on what happened in a subsequent tweet, which she wrote in response to a fan who asked her why the venue didn't just let her change into another outfit before continuing her set.

Azalea confirmed that she did in fact conduct a wardrobe change, before revealing she also said something onstage that "sent the authorities over the edge."

"I also said, 'Ladies make some noise, it’s a woman’s world,'" she added. "And apparently that sent the authorities over the edge. Lol. I’m cool I just didn’t want the fans to be sad or angry at the show organizers cause it wasn’t their control or mine it was the police at the side of stage."

I did but I also said

Iggy's wardrobe malfunction arrives on the heels of her new single, "Money Come," which she dropped on Friday alongside an accompanying music video.

Produced by Tricky Stewart, the track marks the first new material by Iggy since the rapper's last full-length project, 2021's The End of an Era.

Meanwhile, Iggy has since teased snippets of more new music, which she posted on Twitter in an effort to gauge fans' responses. Check out the teasers in the tweets below.
