Nearly six months after sharing the deluxe edition of his sophomore album USEE4YOURSELF, IDK taps producer Kaytranada for his latest single “Taco.”
The new track, which arrives alongside a music video, marks IDK’s first drop of 2022. The Maryland rapper took to Instagram last weekend to tease “Taco” and “Breathe.” The latter song, which is also produced by Kaytranada, is scheduled to arrive later this month.
Expected to arrive later this year, IDK’s next full-length offering will serve as the official follow-up to 2021’s USEE4YOURSELF. Released last July, the LP featured the previously released single “PradadaBang,” as well as guest appearances from Young Thug, Offset, Rico Nasty, T-Pain, Swae Lee, Sevyn Streeter, Slick Rick, and the Neptunes, among others.
In an interview with Complex last year, IDK spoke about what it’s like being vulnerable in his music.
“The most important thing for me is I’m an example of success for a lot of people,” he said at the time. “Even when I feel like I have more work to do, there’s a lot of people who would die to be in the position that I’m in. So, my idea is showing them that I’m here, I’m close, and I’m within reach.”
