Travis Scott has reportedly settled his issues with New York City nightclub Nebula after he allegedly attacked a sound engineer and damaged equipment, per TMZ.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Scott has settled with the management of the club following the incident in late February. While it’s unclear how much the rapper paid the club, he allegedly damaged a soundboard during the incident that’s worth at least $12,000. While this means he will not be facing litigation from the venue, a criminal investigation is still ongoing.

"This remains an active investigation," said a spokesperson for the New York Police Department.

The engineer involved in the incident claimed that he was yelled at and punched in the face by Scott after his DJ set volume was turned down. In an interview last month, he said he was suffering from issues in his neck and arms after the attack. The victim has reportedly stopped cooperating with authorities investigating the alleged assault, which could put the brakes on the case.

In a statement, Scott’s representatives told Complex that the allegations against him were “a complete and total joke.” No charges have been filed against the rapper so far. "As anyone with common sense can see, the video that shows Travis DJ’ing in Nebula proves that the incident was nothing," said the rep. "All it shows that Travis’s performance was disrupted by someone aggressively in his personal space.”

His attorney Mitchell Schuster said they “remain confident that Travis will be vindicated once all is said and done. Any statements about the incident involving Travis are clearly an attempt to sensationalize what is nothing more than a misunderstanding.”
