T-Pain has never made it a secret that he's a huge fan of video games, but he's officially taken his fandom to another level with his cosplay of a Tekken character. What's most impressive about the costume, however, is that the character he dressed up as isn't even available in Tekken 7 just yet.

Leroy Smith was introduced at the EVO 2019 fighting game tournament earlier this month, and will be arriving in the game before the end of the year. Released as part of the latest season of updates for the game, Smith sports a distinct style that will undoubtedly make him a fan favorite. In fact, T-Pain is already stanning, going the extra mile to absolutely nail his costume.

Posting on Instagram, T-Pain showed a comparison image of Smith alongside his cosplay, which he wore to Atlanta's Dragon Con. He also showed that his daughter went in costume as Dutch van der Linde from Red Dead Redemption and its sequel.

Needless to say, he seems very pleased with the result. T-Pain is a hardcore gamer, frequently streaming on Twitch to his 126,000 followers. Among the games he's known to broadcast are OverwatchApex Legends, and Rainbow Six: Siege.

Lupe Fiasco last month shared an image of Leroy Smith, saying, "So basically I’m a Tekken character."
