In a statement released on Friday, Rolling Loud confirmed its New York festival will not be returning in 2023.

“For the last few years, we’ve made some legendary moments happen in Queens,” reads the statement. “Sadly, due to logistical factors beyond our control, Rolling Loud will not return to New York in 2023. But don’t worry, this isn’t ‘goodbye,’ more like ‘see you later.’ We’ll be back in New York when the time is right. In the meantime, we invite all of our New York fans to meet us in Miami July 21-23 for our biggest, best festival of the year. Love you all! Rolling Loud forever!”

Rolling Loud first launched with its Miami festival in 2015, and has since expanded to locations further afield including California, Romania, Portugal, and Thailand. Its New York City festival launched in 2019, and returned in 2021 and 2022 after taking a hiatus in 2020 on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. Performers at the NY festival have included Playboi Carti, Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Future, and ASAP Rocky among others. Juice WRLD also delivered his final festival performance in 2019 prior to his death in December that year.

The company will host its next festival at Legend Siam in Pattaya City, Thailand next month, while its next US-based event will take place in Miami in July.
