Atlanta rapper OJ da Juiceman, whose real name is Otis Williams Jr., has been arrested in Kentucky on gun and drug charges, NBC affiliate LEX18 reports.

The 40-year-old was booked in the Hardin County Detention Center in Elizabethtown on Wednesday. He has been charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He currently has a court date set for May 13, but so far no further details regarding his arrest have been released.

His mugshot from his arrest can be seen below.

While OJ da Juiceman hasn’t released a studio album since 2014’s The Otis Williams Jr. Story, which was released through Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, the rapper has remained prolific with an extensive series of mixtapes over the last decade. His most recent tape, Alaska n Atlanta 3, dropped July last year. The majority of his output has been released through his independent label, 32 Entertainment. He made an appearance in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2009 thanks to his appearance on Gucci’s “Wasted.”

This is not the first time the rapper has run into legal issues. Back in 2015, as Vlad TV reported at the time, he and his manager were arrested on gun and drug charges in the state of Tennessee en route to a performance in North Carolina. He was charged with intent to distribute, gun possession, and unlawful crime with possession of a firearm. Police reportedly discovered multiple firearms, marijuana, and a large amount of ammunition in his vehicle.
