After Baby Tate’s track “Hey, Mickey!” garnered viral traction on TikTok earlier this year, she’s recruited Saweetie for a fresh remix.

The original version of the song dropped all the way back in 2016, but thanks to a recent push on TikTok it’s gotten renewed attention. “It’s so crazy how much Hey, Mickey has blown up in the past few months," said Tate of the song's recent success. "I’m super proud to be able to give this song new life with a fire verse from Saweetie along with a super hot video that I can’t wait for people to see!”

The 2023 remix of the song maintains the bouncy production of the original and the interpolation of Toni Basil’s song of the same name, but Saweetie offers up her take on the beat, too. “Aye Mickey, maybe I could be yo’ Minnie,” she raps on her verse. “I’m about my cheddar, but I never been no snitchey.” To coincide with the arrival of the remix, Saweetie shared a video of her with Tate on Twitter.
