Jack Harlow is seeing some “First Class” success with his latest single.

The Louisville lyricist’s new track has officially topped the Billboard Hot 100, the publication shared on Monday, with 2022’s largest streaming week. This marks Harlow’s second No. 1 single—and his first-ever No. 1 solo single, as well as his first No. 1 debut—following the 2021 success of “Industry Baby.” The Lil Nas X collaboration hit No. 1 in October following a weeks-long climb to the top.

As Billboard reports, Harlow’s latest stroke of success brought in a 2022 record 54.6 million streams, 4.1 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 10,600 downloads, all in its first week. Harry Styles previously held the 2022 streaming record with “As It Was” last week, and the pop star’s latest single now sits at No. 2 on the charts.

“First Class,” which samples another No. 1 hit in Fergie’s 2006 track “Glamorous,” had an advantage in getting to these numbers, too. Harlow first teased the track on social media, alongside a clip of him dancing around the studio, and it then took off on TikTok. It marks Harlow’s third top 10 hit, following the No. 2 peak of “Whats Poppin,” specifically the remix featuring DaBaby, Tory Lanez, and Lil Wayne, in 2020.

“First Class” is yet another single from his upcoming May 6 sophomore effort Come Home the Kids Miss You, which was fronted by lead single “Nail Tech.”

“It’s probably my least favorite song on the album,” Harlow said of “Nail Tech” in an interview with Rolling Stone. “But I know the effect it’s gonna have on people. I’m spitting, and there’s energy behind the beat... I have different tastes.”
