Drake landed his ninth No. 1 album with the compilation Care Package. The collection of loosies and SoundCloud classics topped the charts as Drake albums are wont to do.

Care Package moved 109,000 equivalent album units this week, of which 16,000 were album sales, according to Billboard. Having nine chart-toppers isn't a record, but it does put him in rarefied air. On the all-time albums list, he's tied with Garth Brooks, Eminem, Madonna, and the Rolling Stones.

Drake keeps tabs on his performance and where he shakes out in the history of popular music with a particular eye toward the Beatles. He recently got a tattoo celebrating his surpassing of the Fab Four on the list of most songs in the Top 10 of Billboard's singles chart, the Hot 100. (He has 35 songs landing only behind Madonna.) He honored himself with a not-at-all subtle piece that showed Drake waving as he passed by the Beatles in their iconic Abbey Road cover art.

The Beatles still have Drake by a considerable margin in the albums race: They have 19 chart-toppers to Drake's nine. He's also behind JAY-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), Barbra Streisand (11), and Elvis Presley (10).
