Even though he's technically from London, 21 Savage has nothing but love for the community he's called home since he was a kid. The rapper reportedly isn't allowed to stray too far from home and he's using the time to help his community. TMZ points out that Savage chipped in at a DeKalb County YMCA, serving 300 families an early Thanksgiving dinner in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He was there on hand to serve meals like turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and more.

Savage and his mother donned aprons to pass out food at the Tuesday night event, thrown by his own Leading by Example Foundation.

21 is awaiting a court date to see if he can perform outside of the United States. After being detained by ICE, he's caught up in a massive backlog of immigration cases in Atlanta that are due to keep the courts busy for years. Savage has yet to receive a court date a full 9 months after he was released.

Initially, Savage was barred from performing entirely. However, he was able to obtain a work visa that allows him to play shows in the United States until his case plays out.

Savage has spoken out on behalf of immigrant children who were brought to the United States, saying that they should be offered citizenship since they had to no choice but to follow their families.

"When you ain't got no choice, you should be exempt," 21 told the Associated Press. "It's not like I was 30, woke up, and moved over here. I've been here since I was like 7 or 8, probably younger than that. I didn't know anything about visas and all that. I just knew we were moving to a new place . . . I feel like we should be exempt. I feel like we should automatically become citizens."
