Star Wars is one of the most popular franchises in history thanks to an endless roster of films populated by beloved characters, engrossing storylines, and otherwordly creatures that inhabit its large cinematic universe. The tapestry is so rich, that it's hard to come up with somethng that might be lacking. Until now.

After an intrepid internet user put together an incredible Star Wars compilation that replaces all of the original sound effects with Cardi B ad-libs, it's clear that the Bronx rapper would fit right into that galaxy far, far away. The video, posted by Latino news outlet Mitú, includes shots of Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and R2-D2, all of whom benefit from the thousands of sounds that come out of Cardi's mouth. Unfortunately, her highly imitated never duplicated “okurrr,” didn't make the cut. Hey, there's always the sequel.

If @iamcardib did all the sound effects for #StarWars...you’ll want your audio on for this one 😂😂😂 #MayThe4thBeWithYou#CardiB pic.twitter.com/UJoj72lPNq

The video itself was posted in celebration of May 4, also known as May the Fourth Be With You day, but don't let that stop you from watching this all year round. Besides, Star Wars season is upon us once again, as Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25.

When she’s not busy providing sound effects for the biggest movie franchise ever, Cardi is getting ready to be a mother and riding the high of her debut album Invasion of Privacy. She kicks off a tour with Bruno Mars this fall, and also made an appearance at Monday night's Met Gala looking like the Virgin Mary herself.
