French Montana hasn't been endearing himself to his fellow rappers. During this quarantine French has had exchanges with multiple artists, and it appears Swae Lee is the latest person to take objection to Montana.

During an appearance on Complex's Everyday Struggle, French claimed he has one of the best ears for music in the industry. He then used the arrangement of his hit "Unforgettable" with Swae Lee as an example of this.

"Do you think 'Unforgettable' came to me before it went out?" Montana said. "It was nothing like that before it came out. It was a song—it didn't have no structure. I had to sit there like a scientist and put it together."

Swae Lee caught wind of Montana's comments and they didn't sit well with him. Lee took to Instagram where he let it be known that French's comments were "cap." He also told his Twitter followers that he has the original version of the song and it would prove that the single was sent to Montana with a backbone.

Unlike his tension with Young Thug and Young Chop, French Montana didn't want to take the issue further with Swae Lee. After seeing Lee's Instagram comments, Montana responded by attempting to promote positive energy during this Ramadan.

"FRENCH MONTANA FEAT. SWAE LEE - UNFORGETTABLE. 1 million away from diamond," French wrote. "I LOVE SWAE LEE LETS STAY POSITIVE RAMADAN MUBARAK. ... WHO HAD THE MONKEY FIRST ? LETS BEEF ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE NOT UNFORGETTABLE. WE WON."
