Roddy Ricch revealed earlier this month that he owes Young Thug $40,000. Now, the Atlanta rapper has asked for him to cough up the cash.
"I loss a bet to @youngthug he the only n***a that can get me to freestyle! I got your 400 bluestrips for u," the Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial rapper tweeted. He later reiterated this in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, telling Thugger to come to Los Angeles if he wants to see his money. After keeping quiet on the matter, Thug has finally asked Roddy to pay up.
"Somebody tell Roddy, bring me $40,000. I'm here," Thug said with a smile on his Instagram story, before bursting into laughter. The two have yet to reveal what exactly the bet was about, but they appear to be in no rush to explain it any further. It's possible their agreement has something to do with Roddy delivering a freestyle on Power 106's Los Angeles Leakers.
But the pair appear to be keeping it playful. The wager development comes after an incredibly successful year that saw Roddy Ricch land multiple Emmy nominations and a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.
