Tyga really remixed the “Macarena” song.
If you follow him on social media, Tyga has been teasing his version of Los del Río’s universal hit these past few days and the reception has been mostly good.
Here's another clip of Tyga putting the finishing touches on the song.
On Saturday, Tyga premiered the full song on his YouTube page. The two-minute banger flips the “Macarena” theme into something for the clubs, and will undoubtedly bring back the dance. Expect this to go off at your Friendsgivings, holiday parties, etc.
Just last month, Tyga signed a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Records. The press release also mentioned new music under the imprint soon. “Ayy Macarena” follows "Mamacita" with Santana and YG, attempting to recreate the success of "Go Loko." It seems Tyga has been in his Latin bag lately, dropping collabs with J Balvin and remixing Ambjaay's "Uno" with Lil Pump.
Over the summer, Tyga released Legendary, with a deluxe edition featuring songs by Ty Dolla Sign, Takeoff, G-Eazy, and Rich The Kid.
