Cheyenne felt like her long-distance relationship with boyfriend Bradyn had run its course, and she was ready to call it quits. But, break-ups can be difficult, messy, emotional, and on occasion, all those things at once, so Cheyenne enlisted the help of lead singer Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray (one of the now ex-boyfriend's favorite bands) to break the bad news to Bradyn.

Cheyenne was able to get McGrath's help through the personalized messaging app Cameo where celebrities can be booked for a fee to deliver a video message. "She wants you to know that you mean a lot to her," he said. "You mean the world to her. But she’s having difficulty staying in this long-distance relationship."

McGrath briefly interjected to sympathize with the couple's long-distance relationship, comparing their struggles with the difficulties that he has faced in trying to keep his own marriage afloat. "She still wants to be friends with you, and she wants you to know, good luck on your thesis coming up — probably not the best timing, Cheyenne, when he's doing his thesis, but I understand," he continued.

McGrath handled the situation as well as he possibly could, especially since he was being tasked with ending a relationship. The singer was also hopeful that one day everyone involved could meet in person and laugh about the whole thing.
