Consequence continues to honor Phife Dawg's legacy with "No Place Like Home," a track he recorded with late rapper during the beginning stages of A Tribe Called Quest's final album. The record arrived Nov. 19, on the eve of what would've been Phife's 49th birthday.

"Once we released We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service I always knew I wanted people to hear this record, but it just felt like the timing had to be right," Consequence explained. "This year it feels right... The one thing I know about Phife is that he’s a rapper’s rapper. The best gift I could give him for his birthday this year is to let the world hear the '5 Foot Assassin' 1nce Again! Happy Birthday Malik 'Phife Dawg.'"

"No Place Like Home" was co-produced by Consequence and Mike Cash, with additional production from Fede Vindver and Rich Keller. You can stream "No Place Like Home" now via SoundCloud below and check out the video up top.

Along with releasing a handful of solo tracks in 2019, Consequence has also contributed to a number of records, including Danny Brown's "Combat" and "Selah" from Kanye West's newly released gospel album, Jesus Is King.
