Megan Thee Stallion has had a wild 2019, deservedly breaking into the mainstream with flair. She garnered critical and commercial success following the release of her Fever mixtape, and she's undoubtedly started work on her debut studio album after signing a management deal with Roc Nation. She does have one other project she's working on, however, as she revealed to Vogue that she's gotten into screenwriting.
In the latest 24 Hours With... video from the magazine, Megan briefly explained that she's working on a script. When pressed for more, she explained, "It's for a horror film. Everyone knows I fuckin' love horror movies."
As for her favorite horror flick, Megan suggested a stone-cold cult classic. "I’m not even gonna lie to you, I think it’s Evil Dead," she said. "I like movies that make you semi fall in love with the villain so you have sympathy for him. You’re not gonna want the villain to die, maybe he won’t die. ‘Cause I feel like every good story, you can’t just necessarily kill off the villain. That’s why the Batman never killed Joker. How the fuck would you have Batman with no Joker?"
After being asked by her friend if she's seen The Human Centipede, Megan recoiled. "You know what, but, I appreciate whoever made that movie," she added after screaming for a moment. "We needed that for the culture."
Meg previously mentioned her love for horror films in her interview with Complex at SXSW earlier this year. "I definitely wanna act, but, the crazy thing is I actually wanna write scary movies," she explained. "It's my favorite genre, and I feel like scary movies that have been coming out lately have been so predictable and so boring."
