21 Savage bares his soul on the "Triggered (Freestyle)" remix, with Jhene Aiko and Summer Walker. While he doesn't name names in his verse, fans have speculated that 21 is venting about his highly publicized relationship with ex, Amber Rose.
"I went against the world when they shamed you," 21 raps. "I would've gone to war if it pertains to you." 21 could be referring to Rose's SlutWalk, an event that combats slut shaming, and one that 21 was trolled for attending. Fans couldn't help but make the connection.
He also raps, "I was triggered when I seen you with that scrub, on God/He can’t handle you, you know you need a thug, on God/They say never wife a woman that you meet inside a club/But I slept with half the club, baby who am I to judge?" Again, 21 doesn't mention Rose by name, but fans speculated nonetheless.
