City Girls "First Day Out"

City Girls aren't wasting any time.

Hours after announcing JT's prison release, the Quality Control duo gifted fans with a new track aptly titled "First Day Out." Yung Miami, the other half of City Girls, confirmed the release on social media, sharing the record's official cover along with the caption: "YOU BITCHES IN TROUBLE!! MY BITCH HOME!"

You can stream "First Day Out," produced by Twysted Genius, on Apple Music and via Spotify below.

JT, born Jatavia Shakara Johnson, was sentenced to two years in prison for credit card fraud back in 2018 and was expected to be released in 2020. During JT's incarceration, Yung Miami held it down for the City Girls, securing a number of collaborations with big-name artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Moneybagg Yo, Tee Grizzley, and more.

QC co-founder Pierre "Pee" Thomas has hinted at a new City Girls album set to drop before the year's end. He teased the effort during an August interview with Hot 97's Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez.

"When JT come home she going to the halfway house, but the great thing about the halfway house is they let you go on work release, so soon as she's out she's gonna be locked in the studio working." he said. "Hopefully she'll be out next month ... in a few weeks if everything go how it's supposed to go."
