Following 6ix9ine's Nine Trey Blood testimony in court last month, 2 Chainz has trolled the controversial rapper on Instagram. In a not-so-subtle joke, Tity Boi added himself to the growing list of rappers to call 6ix9ine a "rat."
"I got breaking news," 2 Chainz said in his video. Pointing to a giant inflatable rat, he added, "6ix9ine."
Recently Schoolboy Q joked about playing "one of the snitches" in a possible 6ix9ine biopic, before adding that he would be down to play the rapper "on da BET version." Lil Durk, in speaking about the situation with Rob Markman for Genius, said, "A rat is a rat." Future also referred to the "Gummo" rapper as a rat, while Snoop Dogg continued to clown him with memes. DaBaby has also made it clear he will never work with 6ix9ine.
During the last day of his testimony, in which he assisted authorities in tracking down wanted Nine Trey Blood members, 6ix9ine said, "I didn't want to snitch." He added, "I was still part of the Nine Trey lineup, and there was a code. There was loyalty involved."
For the most part, the hip-hop community has turned its back on 6ix9ine, although he has stated that he doesn't think his testimony will impact his popularity when he gets out of prison.
