Megan Thee Stallion recently inked a management deal with Roc Nation. “I would like to announce that I am officially a part of the @rocnation fam,” Meg revealed on Instagram on Friday. “The grind don't stop!”
But her breakout year unfortunately coincided with the death of her mother in March. The rapper hasn’t let up though, even when she’s been sad or garnered criticism. After she announced her new deal, she opened up on Twitter about how her mother’s passing has impacted her.
“After my mom passed I promised myself I was going to keep going hard bc not only is music my dream but it was her dream for me too. I have days where I want to go hide and cry bc she’s not here but i kno that ain’t what she would want me to do! I kno she’s proud of me !”
However, some are convinced that her mother’s death was a conspiracy. On Saturday, former NFL player Larry Johnson quote-tweeted Meg's photo with JAY-Z’s, writing that Megan’s deal with Roc Nation is a sign of the devil.
“Her mother, who was her manager died in the month of March 2019, the same month of her ‘break out,’” he tweeted. “Music industry filled with the easily corrupt fatherless children looking for Satan to be the ‘daddy’ they never had.”
Megan saw Johnson’s response and fired back, writing that her success has been a long time coming, and that her mother’s death has no ‘association’ with the devil.
“Just because YOU found out about me around the time my mother passed does not make what you’re saying accurate. I’ve been grinding for so long and would appreciate if you weirdos on the internet would stop trying to associate my mother having A BRAIN TUMOR with the fucking devil.”
JAY-Z is just one of many wealthy celebrities that have been accused of being connected to the Illuminati for years. It's even been said that he runs the secret society alongside Beyoncé.
