No one could ever forget the fight that broke out between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at the Harper's Bazaar New York Fashion Week party in 2018, especially Cardi's best friend, Star Brim.
According to Brim, Minaj and her friend Rah Ali are lucky Brim wasn't there. On the first episode of her new podcast, Keepin' It Bute, Brim discussed last year's altercation, where a shoe was thrown and which ended in Cardi sporting a giant lump on her head. "Listen, let me tell you something. If I was at that shit, I would have spanked Rah [Ali,]" Brim said. "If I see Rah right now, I'll still spank Rah. So it really don't matter. And if I could have got to Nicki, you feel me, then it would have went down too but that bitch is well-protected. It would not have went down the way it went down."
Ali has claimed she's the one who punched Cardi that night. After the incident, Minaj addressed the situation on Queen Radio, saying that Ali did serious damage to Cardi (as opposed to Cardi’s telling, where security was to blame), and that there was footage to back that up. "Rah beat Cardi's ass really bad," Nicki said. "Rah beat you so bad that I was mad at Rah."

Rah Ali sources later told TMZ that all this is simply a "poor attempt" at Star obtaining some quick and temporary fame. Furthermore, these sources claim that Rah has advised Star to ponder why she's not living as top-tier as Cardi B these days.
