Atlanta rapper Young Dro has reportedly been arrested following an incident involving a banana pudding.

TMZ reports that Dro was arrested on July 5 for throwing a plate of banana pudding during an argument with his girlfriend at their Atlanta home. The two of them were reportedly getting heated over money, and that's when they started to throw food at each other.

Police were called to the scene shortly after, and Dro was arrested and is facing two counts of misdemeanor battery/family violence. His girlfriend allegedly said she did not want to press charges against Dro, but the authorities arrested him anyway. As of right now, he's reportedly still in jail, but he's been posting regularly on his Instagram all the way up until July 16. The reason he's still behind bars, though, is because he's also being held on a child support contempt order.

Legal documents state that Dro owes around $41,000 in back child support, and in order to be released from custody he would need to pay $10,000. The child support case involves a different woman with whom he had a child, and is not related to the banana incident with his current girlfriend. Dro has said that he's up to date on his payments, and it's a clerical error, however.

The Grand Hustle rapper last released a project in 2018 with the Adderall Flow mixtape.
