I'm not a pretty little thing, I'm a problem. So begins Lioness in this high-powered, A-list team-up.
It seems between shooting seasons of The Voice, will.i.am never stops. It's also clear that his time on the show isn't just spent sourcing talent for the next chart-invasion. He's also been paying close attention to our thriving rap scene and is today dropping visuals with three of the brightest lights in the scene: Lady Leshurr, Lioness, and Ms. Banks. Handling the bouncy, bass-led production is will.i.am, setting the scene for this very UK-focused collaboration before each emcee steps into the booth and rebukes the chauvinist "she's a pretty little thing" hook with devastating bars about running their squad and laying waste to the opposition.
"I've had so much fun and what a pleasure it was working with a legend like will.i.am," says Leshurr. "His enthusiasm and drive to make sure this song came out exactly right was so motivating and inspiring." Lioness added that "just being in the room with him and seeing his genius in action was incredibly inspiring for me," while for Banks, it was "amazing working with Will and the girls. I've looked up to all of them at some point throughout my journey, so it's crazy to see it all come full circle and work alongside such talented individuals."
