Eminem and JAY-Z are proving that longevity is possible within hip-hop as the two are now tied for the rapper with third-most top ten hits in Billboard history.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Logic's Eminem assisted track "Homicide" holds the no. 5 spot on this week's Billboard Hot 100 Chart.  This gives the legendary artist his 21st top ten single pulling him even with JAY-Z. Since "Renegade" sparked heated barber shop debates, the two have been in continual conversation with each other. But with both artists still producing after more than 20 years in the game, they have redefined what it means to be a hot rapper for their respective audiences.

"Homicide" is featured on Logic's newly released Confessions of a Dangerous Mind album.

While this is a major accomplishment for Eminem, he and Jigga still fall behind Young Money's general and lieutenant. Sitting at no. 2 on the list is Lil Wayne with 24 records while hit-machine Drake has 33 smashes. Drake's position speaks volumes to the reception of his recent singles. In just a little over a year, Drizzy has leap-frogged Weezy and Hova to take his seat atop this list. While the Grammy-winning "God's Plan" and his reunion with Meek on "Going Bad" give off a top ten feel, the fact Drake's loose-cut "Diplomatic Immunity" peaked in the top ten is quite an accomplishment for hip-hop as a whole.

Still, congrats are in order for one of music's most prolific talents.
