Despite its 2013 cancellation, Drake has brought Top Boyback.

Though it's been a long time in the making (it was first announced in November 2017) he purchased the rights and aired the debut trailer for the third season of the British crime drama at the O2 Arena in London on Monday during a tour stop.

Here's how the crowd reacted to that once they realized what it was:

As for what Variety said to expect once the show airs again:

The [new season] picks up where the original show left off. Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson will reprise their roles as Dushane and Sully, respectively, two drug dealers who return to London from exile and prison and team up to try to dominate the trade again. The pair run up against Jamie, a ruthless young gang leader.

Monday marked the first of seven nights Drizzy will spend at the legendary arena, which transformed that '2' into a '3' to mark the occasion... so shout-out to marketers and whatnot:

ET Canada adds that the new 10-episode season of Top Boy will premiere on Netflix, but at this time there's no release date available. At least outside of the fairly broad sometime "in 2019."

You can watch the trailer in full below, which features two new additions to the cast: Dave and Little Simz.
