After dating for only a couple weeks, TMZ reports that Blac Chyna and Soulja Boy have called it quits, dubbing the relationship “one of the fastest flings in hip-hop history.”
According to the outlet, sources say the coupledom began to deteriorate when Soulja and Chyna fought about Tyga. During the argument, the two wondered about each other’s true motives for dating.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that the reason the two initially got things going was to troll Tyga. Tyga is Chyna’s ex, and at the top of the year, Soulja and Tyga started feuding over who had the biggest comeback in 2018, so obviously Soulja and Chyna’s revenge plot made sense.
TMZ reports there are other factors at play too, like the two just wanting different things, with “Soulja looking for group hangs and Chyna preferring the Netflix and chill vibe,” the outlet writes. They add that Chyna felt like Soulja “wasn’t ready to commit.”
When TMZ shared a link to their story on Twitter, Soulja quote-tweeted the outlet and wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “I just wanted to see what the pussy felt like.”
Later, Soulja apologized the remark, writing, “My apologies to Blac Chyna and my fans for the previous tweet. Blac Chyna and I have a mutual friendship nothing more nothing less.”
TMZ shared that the split between Chyna and Soulja was amicable.
On Feb. 13, news surfaced that the two were secretly dating, shortly after Chyna had broken up with Kid Buu. Sources said they hooked up after sliding into each other's DMs on Instagram. In early February, they reportedly met up together at Sean Kingston's L.A. Penthouse for a party, and they were later spotted at a number of post-Grammy parties together. They also spent Valentine’s Day together.
