Juelz Santana and Kimbella Tie the Knot

Congratulations are in order for Juelz Santana and Kimbella.

After 10 years of dating, the Love & Hip Hop couple tied the knot in a private Thursday night ceremony. Guests included celebrities like Lil' Kim, as well as Santana's Dipset crew members Cam'ron, Freekey Zekey, and Jim Jones. 

Santana proposed to Kimbella back in November during the Diplomats' show at Harlem's Apollo Theater. The couple share two kids: 8-year-old Juelz Santana James and 6-year-old Bella Monroe James.

"This my lady. She’s been rocking with me for a long, long time," the rapper told the Apollo Theater audience. "She stuck it out with a n***a through the ups and downs. I love you, baby. You’re my queen and I want to do this in front of everybody right here."

Santana proposed as he was faced serious gun charges. The rapper was arrested in March 2018 after TSA agents discovered a loaded firearm inside his carry-on. Though Santana immediately fled Newark Liberty International Airport, he turned himself in three days after the incident.  

Many people suspected Santana had proposed to Kimbella, because he feared she would leave him while he was incarcerated. Santana insisted that wasn't the reason.

"If I was worried about someone taking her then I wouldn’t of [sic] did it," he wrote on Instagram back in November. "If someone take ya lady, a ring ain't gonna stop nothing. U just gonna be out of a ring n a lady. What u saying makes no sense… Stay blessed tho fam."

About a month after he and Kimbella got engaged, Santana was sentenced to 27 months in prison. A surrender date has not been announced.
